On this Giving Tuesday please help us raise the money needed to
keep our Community Closet & Food Pantry going. Our goal this
year is to raise $25,000!

Committed to helping and healing children and families who have been traumatized by child sexual abuse and severe neglect, the CACF provides services to those who need them the most.

Established in November 2020, the CACF’s Community Closet and Food Pantry program addresses the immediate needs of child victims and their families by providing essentials such as clothing, hygiene products, non-perishable food, cleaning supplies and other items. Our support offers a reprieve as families figure out the next steps to prevent further victimization. Given current inflation, demand for the types of items provided through the Closet has been on the rise.
A total of 314 individuals (75 families) were served in 2021, versus 840 individuals (225 families) and 36 sex trafficked youth served in 2022. As of September 30, 2023, the Closet has already supported 1,335 individuals (319 families) and 108 sex-trafficked youth. It is estimated that the Closet will serve over 1,450 individuals totaling 350 families and 250 sex-trafficked youth in 2023.

$25

Your donation will help the CACF to feed a family of 4. This support goes towards our food pantry, which allows non-offending parents and caregivers to focus their energy upon processing the trauma and healing from the devastating effects of abuse.

$50

Your donation will help us continue to provide clothing, hygiene, non-perishable food, and other itemsWhether a family must relocate for safety reasons or a non-offending parent is grappling with the news that their child was victimized, we exists to alleviate some of the burdens they face.

$100

Your donation will help us continue to provide free mental health services to primary victims, siblings, and nonoffending parents and other primary caretakers who often experience trauma-related symptoms of their own. The goal of our Vegas Heals program is to not only heal the child victim but to heal the entire family unit.

This Giving Tuesday we are also asking that you donate to our Community Closet & Food Pantry – now until December 3, 2024!  The Pantry provides support to the children and families seen at the Children’s Advocacy Center, many of whom struggle financially.  If you are unable to contribute a monetary donation but would still like to support the CACF, this is a great way you can help us help them this Fall.
