What is Camp Thrive Las Vegas?
Launching in June 2024, the Children’s Advocacy Center Foundation (CACF) will be hosting its first annual Camp Thrive Las Vegas at the 4-H Camp & Learning Center located in Alamo, Nevada. The CACF will bring together 18 – 24 child survivors of sexual abuse, ages 9-13, in a traditional camp setting. This 3-day summer camp experience will include group therapy sessions with individual sessions provided as needed, arts and crafts, team-building activities, ropes courses, hiking, and much more. The goal of the summer camp is to encourage healing and help survivors understand that they are not alone.
At Camp Thrive Las Vegas, a variety of activities to challenge participants will be utilized to achieve the following objectives:

The Children’s Advocacy Center Foundation is not currently accepting applications for 2024. If your child is a survivor of sexual abuse, ages 9 – 13, and is interested in attending Camp Thrive Las Vegas, applications will open in late January to early February for the summer of 2025.
